Hello and Welcome!
I’m Abiah(Abiyah) Wendy, a Human Resources professional by training, a faith-driven creative at heart, and a woman walking boldly in purpose.
My journey has taken me from HR offices and spreadsheets to prayer rooms and intercessory circles. I’ve always believed that people matter deeply, not just in systems and structures, but in purpose, identity, and divine destiny. Working in HR opened my eyes to how much of life, faith, and work are deeply connected. But I also saw how often they’re separated, as if spirituality belongs only in sacred spaces and work belongs to the secular world. I couldn’t accept that.
That’s why I started Ecclesia in Culture - a blog where the sacred meets the secular, where we talk honestly about navigating everyday life, the workplace, and this ever-evolving culture, all through a Kingdom lens.
This blog was born out of a desire to speak to the in-between spaces:
- The believer building a career while nurturing their prayer altar
- The professional navigating leadership with spiritual sensitivity
- The creative trying to stay rooted in Christ while influencing culture
- The weary heart seeking meaning, truth, and wisdom in a loud world
Here, I write about:
🌿 Life - the personal, the beautiful, and the messy
✝️ Faith - real, raw, and rooted in the Word
💼 Work - where calling and career collide with excellence
🌍 Culture - engaging the world without losing your soul
Whether you’re here for encouragement, clarity, or simply connection, I’m honored you’ve stopped by. My prayer is that every post reminds you of who you are, whose you are, and what you're called to bring into the world.
Let’s walk this road together, strong, Spirit-led, and uncompromised.
With love, light, and purpose,
Abiah Wendy
